Winners from FFA Fall District Competition Announced.

(Chinook – BCJ) The results of the October 1st Fall District Competition for the Milk River District of Montana’s FFA were announced recently.

The three events, Livestock Judging, Horse Evaluation and Range Judging, began at 9 am, with all of the judgement material being volunteered by local farmers, ranchers, and producers.

Once scores were finalized, it was announced that teams from Malta, Havre, Chinook, Big Sandy, and Big Flat / Turner would advance to state competition for Livestock Judging, and teams from Big Flat, Chinook, Big Sandy, Fort Benton, and Malta had qualified in Horse Evaluation.

Top scorer in Livestock Judging was the Malta team, Chinook was top in Horse Evaluation, and Big Sandy took 1st in Range Judging.
