(Havre) With assistance from Humanities Montana, the Hi-Line Arts Council is sponsoring a Montana Conversation program entitled “Montana Towns: Then, Now, Tomorrow” with storyteller Hal Stearns.
The talk is centered around why some small towns in Montana stick around and others get abandoned in a world of changing economics.
An educator for 34 years, Stearns today is an instructor for the University of Montana’s Lifelong Learning Institute and Humanities Montana.
The talk is scheduled for Monday, November 11th at Beaver Creek Perk, and will start at 6pm.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
