RED KETTLE KICKOFF 2024
NOVEMBER 12, 2024-HAVRE, MT—The Salvation Army Havre Service Center will be holding their annual Red Kettle Kickoff November 15th 1 pm at Gary and Leo’s IGA.
The public is invited to join as we kick off raising funds for the Red Kettle Campaign which will determine the emergency service budget for 2025. Our goal is to raise $45,000. All money raised will be used in this community to help those in need with things. This year the need was emergency rental assistance, first month’s rental assistance and other services that help break down the barrier of people succeeding in our community.
For over 100 years, The Salvation Amry’s Red Kettles have been a symbol of goodwill during the holiday season. The bell Ringing Program is a tradition which provides locals the opportunity to meet the public while spreading a holiday message of hope to the less fortunate. Volunteers chose the location, date, and shift that fits their schedules.
Volunteers can sign up at https://www.registertoring.com/ or call 406-808-9267.
This year, we are asking local Havre Businesses to place a countertop kettle/donation box in their business to help support The Salvation Army-Havre Service Center during the Red Kettle Campaign that runs November 16th through December 24th, 2024. Please contact us at 406-265-6411 or trina.crawford@usw.salvationarmy.org and we will provide the donation container.
The community’s financial support and kindness during the holidays enable The Salvation Army to assist more than 750 people in Havre throughout the year.

About The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army has been a presence in the Havre area since 1915. We offer programs such as Angel Tree, Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Baskets (we work with the Havre Food Bank) and many other programs during the year. These programs make a difference in people’s lives in our community.
The Salvation Army has been supporting those in need without discrimination for more than 150 years in the United States. Nearly 30 million Americans receive assistance from The Salvation Army each year through the broadest array of social services that range from providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children. 82 cents of every dollar The Salvation Amry spends is used to support those services in 5,000 communities nationwide.
