Havre/Hill County Preservation Commission announced 2024 ornament.

(Havre) The Havre/Hill County Preservation Commission has selected the GN 2584 Engine as their 13th historical ornament.

The first ornament was presented in 2011, it depicted the historical Havre Post Office, which sold out after being announced.

This year’s ornament idea was brought to the Commission by Gary Springer, a retired railroad employee.

The ornaments are available at the Havre Chamber of Commerce, the H. Earl Clack Museum and the Havre Railroad Museum.

Proceeds from the ornament help fund preservation projects, most recently the work done on the chapel in Camp Kiwanis.
