No arrests made in Shelby Schools closure incident.

(Shelby) Shelby Schools recently had a late afternoon evacuation after a reported bomb threat against the school district.

All students left Shelby High School at around 2:50pm on November 15th.

Deputies evacuated the Shelby Public schools and conducted thorough searches and interviews. After the investigation, the threat was assessed as low risk.

While Toole County Sheriff’s Office have long since declared that there is no ongoing threat to the community, the event is still under active investigation.

As of now, there have been no arrests made related to the incident.
