(Phillips County Sheriff’s Office) Another update on the shelter in place situation in Zortman from Wednesday, December 4th.
The individual in question was reportedly having a mental health episode, causing them to barricade themselves inside their home.
The original call to this individual’s house was made due to a concerned friend, followed by a discovery that the subject did have a felony warrant for their arrest.
The person spent the night erratically firing a firearm, with some of the instances perceived to be aimed at police, before surrendering to law enforcement the following morning and being taken into custody.
