Chinook Wastewater Treatment Plant Receives Grant

Chinook – Kendall Brown) – As previously reported by New Media Broadcasters, the city of Chinook was recently approved to receive a grant of nearly one million dollars for their wastewater treatment plant.

New Media Broadcasters spoke with Eric Miller, the superintendent of the Chinook wastewater treatment plant, and he explained how the funding will be used.

“We did a riverbank stabilization earlier this fall that in one-hundred percent complete and the rest is pretty much going to be on our collection system for the town of Chinook.”

 

This grant is a part of a Rural Development investment from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
