(IRS) The IRS is offering tips for those last minute tax filers looking to avoid late penalties by beating the April 15th tax filing deadline.
IRS Free File is an online tool offered by the Internal Revenue Service to help folks file their federal taxes. To qualify to use Free File, your adjusted gross income must be 84,000 a year or less.
Those who don’t qualify can still download fillable form pdf files from the same web page.
For state taxes, the Montana Department of Revenue offers some online services that may aid last minute filers in getting all their paper work together.
