(MRP) Another update from the Milk River Project on the progress of the replacement of the St. Mary’s Siphon and Diversion Dam.
MRP says Jensen Drilling Company out of Oregon has installed a series of dewatering wells around the site to keep it dry while crews excavate the footprint for the new structure.
MRP officials say this project is tucked right between the St. Mary Canal and the St. Mary River, so dewatering is a “big deal “.
MRP had previously provided a visual rendering of the process, but that video has since been taken down.
