(Flathead County) mergency responders located a missing person 14 miles from where they initially disappeared near Star Meadows Ranch, north of Whitefish, according to a post from Flathead County Search and Rescue.
SAR reported the individual went missing Friday afternoon. Multiple search teams, two dogs, and a drone were deployed to find him.
Initially, search efforts focused within a two-mile radius but had to expand to 14 miles. Responders discovered him the next morning, Saturday, suffering from mild hypothermia.
The missing person was not named in this report.
