(Chinook) The Chinook Community Chest Fund Drive is scheduled for this week, Wednesday May 7th.
Officials say the purpose of Community Chest is to alleviate each organization from going door-to-door soliciting donations, which affects AAU Wrestling, Youth Baseball/Softball, Youth Soccer, MCT, Swim Team, as well as some community-member led organizations.
Those close to the drive say without area residents’ support, many of these programs would not be available to the youth in the community. Those that participate in these organizations or would just like to help collect are encouraged to attend the fund drive.
