(Hill County) The Hill County Commissioners met on Thursday, May 8th for their weekly business meeting.
The meeting started with commissioner Bill Lanier listing the times this week that 2 or more commissioners were in the same room discussing county business outside of scheduled meetings, often referred to as an accidental quorum. This week, they counted nine such instances.
The board approved an encroachment permit from a local business to create water and electrical lines.
A proclamation to declare May as Treatment Court Month was tabled until next weeks meeting.
The next meeting is scheduled for May 15th, at 10am.
