(Havre) – Montana State University-Northern Cross Country Coach Deborah Callahan recently announced the signing of Browning’s Donovan Aimsback to join the Cross Country and Distance Track Program in the Fall of 2025.
Aimsback is a four-time state qualifier in Cross County while in High School and he contributed to Browning High School winning the 2023 Boys Class “A” State cross country title. Donovan has been on the honor roll all four years of high school as is recognized as one of Browning’s leading students in the revitalization and use of the Blackfeet language.
Coach Callahan had this to say about Aimsback “I’m very excited that Donovan will be coming to MSU-Northern and joining our cross country and track team. Not only is this young man dedicated and determined to succeed both in and out of the classroom, but he also has a deep commitment to preserving and honoring his cultural heritage. We look forward to his contributions to this team.”
Donovan Aimsback will pursue a degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology while attending MSU-Northern.
