(Great Falls – MTN) A woman is in jail after an altercation in Great Falls killed a woman on May 18th.
The Great Falls Police Department (GFPD) reported that Kelsey Staigmiller, 31, was involved in a disturbance at the Roberts Apartments.
Staigmiller, who was not a resident, reportedly disturbed several residents and was locked out of the building, and then caused an altercation with a bystander by unlawfully entering their vehicle.
After the ensuing altercation, 50-year-old Sara Bailey sustained fatal injuries.
Staigmiller is now in the Missoula County Detention Center awaiting charges.
