(Hingham) The Hill County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public to search their properties for a missing piece of evidence that might aid them in investigation efforts following an incident from last Friday.
HCSO says that they’re attempting to locate a pistol that may have been dropped or intentionally hidden in the town of Hingham by the suspect.
Police are urging residents to thoroughly search their property to ensure the pistol is recovered and is not endangering the public.
If a pistol is located, the finder is asked not to touch the weapon, and instead to call the sheriff’s office immediately using the number below.
