GREAT FALLS, Mont. — Governor Greg Gianforte joined BASF Agricultural Solutions last week to celebrate agricultural innovation and introduce a new canola seed, InVigor Gold, to Montana farmers.
The seed is designed with heat tolerance, pod shatter resistance, and disease resilience to boost yield in harsher growing conditions.
BASF says Montana is expected to be the first U.S. state to access InVigor Gold in 2027, pending approval.
The governor praised the partnership as a step forward for Montana’s top industry and its economy.
