University of Montana Women’s Basketball Rounds Out New Coaching Staff.

(Billings) – University of Montana Women’s basketball head coach Nate harris has completed filling out his staff, the last addition is a former NAIA natinal champion.

Britt Cooper is a Montana native from Harrison and played college basketball at Montana western. Cooper is an accomplished collegiate player winning a national championship in 2019 as a Bulldog and was honorable mention All-Frontier Conference as a sophomore, second-team as a junior, first-team and an NAIA honorable mention all-American as a senior, totaling 1,085 career points and 890 rebounds.

Cooper had been an assistant at Angelo state in Texas and a then became the head coach at Harrison Willow Creak High school. In 2023 Cooper went back to Montana western as an assistant coach before joining the Griz staff this summer.
