(HELENA, Mont.) – Wednesday, Middle Fork Strategies announced the launch of Montana Delegation Watch, a website Montanans can use to follow the actions of their elected leaders in Washington, D.C. and better understand how major federal policy decisions, such as recent funding cuts and the passage of the government spending bill, are affecting communities in Montana. Using reports and data gathered from official government sources, third-party analyses, and media coverage, the site aims to give Montanans greater insight into what members of the state’s congressional delegation are doing on their behalf.
Montana Delegation Watch also allows Montanans to find information about where the state’s congressional delegation stands on the key issues, how long it’s been since they met with constituents in an open, in-person public conversation, and exactly how they voted on the issues before them.
Middle Fork Strategies is a multi-issue advocacy and research organization based in Montana. Middle Fork’s goals are to hold accountable those in power and work with like-minded advocacy groups on policies and issues that impact Montana.
