(NMB) Montana Actors Theatre is hosting their annual DBC Gala and Fundraiser on Saturday night. This year’s theme is Denim, Black Ties and City Lights. MAT Executive Director Jay Pyette says the entertainment will have an Oscars feel.
“We’ve centered it all on New York City, Manhattan and we are presenting kind of a, not a spoof but a rendition of the Oscars. We call them the MATTYS and we’re going to be doing a bunch of awards and playing around with the whole Oscars format.”
The evening always includes great food and drinks, auctions and raffles. This is MATS major fundraiser for the year and all funds raised goes toward producing all the shows for the upcoming season, which will be announced on Saturday night.
Tickets are still available. A black-tie table is one thousand dollars, seats 8 has unlimited beer and wine, a dedicated server and appetizers. A denim table is seven hundred dollars, seats 8 and has a dedicated server. Individual tickets are 50.00 dollars each or 90.00 dollars for a couple. Tickets are available at mtactors.com or at the door. The event is in the St. Jude’s gym, doors open at 5:30pm.
Suggested attire for the evening is Montana or Manhattan formal.
