Havre, MT – Saturday night Blue Pony Volleyball took they first official loss of the season at home to Billings Central in four sets.
The Ponies are still at 5-0 in conference play but have fallen to 6-1 overall with the loss.
Havre volleyball head coach, Cassie Kruger, talked about where the team struggled Saturday night.
“Our defense and serve receive was not as sharp as it was on Friday night. However, we were still running a very good offense. We just weren’t executing as efficiently Saturday night as we were Friday night.” Coach Kruger said.
“I think it showed the girls what they need to work on getting closer to postseason when you have bigger and bader teams that you’re up against.”
Up next the Blue Ponies will be at Blocktoberfest this Friday and Saturday in Butte.
