Havre, Mt – Friday morning MSU-Northern Lights and Skylights Cross Country traveled to Billings for the Yellowjacket/Battlin’ Bears open meet.
The Lighs had four runners in a field of 103. James Stensland-Plymale ran a 26:37.2 for a finish in 27th place as the Lights top Runner
Donovan AimsBack ran a 27:58.1 for a 53rd place finish. Wyatt Lowery finished in 30:24.0 for 82nd place and Decker Hanson was Northern’s last runner to finish at 101st place with a time of 39:07.4.
For the Skylights the finished with a team average of 26:58.4, and had 5 competing in race of 76 runners.
Elizabeth DeVries came crossed the finish line first for Northern in 26:23.7. Emerson Kinsella was just seconds behind DeVies for a 47th place in 26:25.7.
Rounding it out for the Skylights was Makaela Kelly in 51st with a time of 26:53.5. Kaitlyn Bancroft ran a 27:23.7 race to finish 55th and Deserae Toombs was the last Northern runner to cross the finish line at 27:45.7 for 57th place.
Both lights and Skylights are off this week but will back at it on October 24th in Glendive.
