Havre, MT – Northern Lights football is back on the road, this time heading to Mayville state North Dakota.
The Lights are coming a loss to No.7 Montana Tech at Tilleman field. Now Northern is headed to play only its second game against an unranked opponent.
Head coach of the Lights Jerome Souers says that is one big thing that the Lights need do better on Saturday.
“We have to be consistent. I’m mean we are making plays at times but not enough of them consecutively; and in order to complete a good drive you have to have consecutive good plays and we are failing to do. We are getting platies, missed assignments, missed blocks, poor excitation. So we gotta continue to improve on our consistency and executing fundamentally.” Souers said.
The Lights will take on Mayville state at 11a.m mountain time and noon central. You can tune live on KPQX, your home MSU-Northern Athletics.
