(Havre) – The Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees met in regular session on Tuesday Night. Highland Park Principal Hayley Criner on behalf of last month’s Pony Pride winner Kelly Veis, presented this month’s Pony Pride award to Havre High School Principal Dustin Kraske. Three of the four members of Havre High School’s FFA Mechanics team that is heading to Indianapolis for the National Convention next week, reported to the board about their journey.
In old business the board passed unanimously nine policy changes to the district’s manual and then in new business on first reading they heard about proposed changes to eleven more policies that passed unanimously. The Board of Trustees committed to the Bridged Health Alliance for the district’s 2026-27 Health Insurance provided the required threshold of districts in the state to opt in is met. Finally, the Board approved the Havre FFA Clubs request to travel to nationals.
The next meeting of the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees is on Veteran’s Day, Tuesday November 11th, 6:30pm at Havre Middle School.
