Wednesday Motorhome & House Fire

(NMB) On Wednesday October 29th, Havre Fire Department was dispatched for a report of a motorhome on fire in the 1800 block of 2nd Street as well as a Medical BLS response West of Havre at the exact same time. Due to the nature of the calls, Havre Fire Department responded initially to the fire while paging in personnel to respond to the medical call. Once additional personnel arrived at the station, an ambulance responded to the medical call before responding to the fire scene.

While enroute, HFD reported flames showing from 1st Street and called for a callback for all off-duty personnel to report to the station. 1 engine arrived on scene within four minutes of being dispatched and reported a fully involved motorhome as well as heavy fire showing from the nearby trailer house. Crews pulled multiple handlines to knock the fire down until additional personnel arrived on scene. One crew knocked down the fire while another crew made entry into the house for interior fire and search for anyone inside.

There were no injuries to civilians or responders. HFD responded with 2 engines, 3 ambulances and a command vehicle
