(Havre) – The City of Havre, Hill County, and the Montana Department of Transportation were awarded a safe streets for all planning grant in 2023. City of Havre Public Works Director explains more about the safety action plan the various stakeholders are working on.
“What we’re trying to do is complete the gap. The other traffic studies that we have on file for here in the city date back to the 1960’s, 1970’s so, there’s a little bit of back tracking that we need to do and the overall goals of the safety action plan is to make our community more accessible, more safe and all around a better community to navigate through.”
The joint stakeholders in the safe streets for all planning grant are inviting the public to their first meeting on Thursday November 20th from 4pm until 6pm in the council chambers at Havre City Hall.
