Havre, MT – Entering December, Havre High Blue Pony Girls basketball is gear up for a season without a home game until January.
The Blue Ponies will play four road games between December 6, and December 16 then end the Calander year at the East/West Tipoff on December 19 and 20 in dillion.
Head coach of the Blue Ponies, Tommy Brown, says that their schedule will toughen his team and can learn a lot.
“Well, I think traveling on the road, especially in the state of Montana, and where we’re located and being class A, those are long trips. You just kind of hope it makes them battle tested and maybe toughens our team up a little bit and then prepare you for those home games. I think if we go into it with the right mindset our team can benefit from having those road games.”
The Blue Ponies start the season on at East Helena this Saturday, December 6, with tipoff for the girls at 5:30p.m. and 4p.m. the Blue Pony Boys.
