Havre, MT – MSU-Northern Lights basketball is currently sitting at 4-3 overall and 1-2 in conference play exiting the holiday break.
The Lights rested up during the holiday but still got in some work to prepare for back-to-back games this Saturday and Sunday.
Head coach of the Lights Shawn Huse said that the break gave him extra time to prepare for weekend double header.
“It gives a little more time to get prepare for two teams so It’s kind of nice with the back-to-back night schedule that we have. Having that off weekend gave us a little more time to look into both teams not just the first one. we got a lot of reps up and some fitness work and some extra shooting work in and also took some breaks to have a nice thanksgiving weekend.”
The Lights will take on Dickinson State in the home opener Saturday December 6 at 7p.m. and follow it up with an afternoon battle against Bismark State on Sunday at 2p.m.
