Havre, MT – Havre High Blue Pony basketball has begun the season with 6 straight road or neutral floor games before playing a single game at home.
The boys have started 0-6 and the girls have started 6-0. On the Blue Pony girls side, senior Amya Jarvis says her and her team have thought about the schedule, but they will be a better team when they play their first home game.
“I mean we’ve definitely thought about it but we will be looking pretty good by the time we get to our first home game so the fans will be seeing the better version of us.”
Five out of the next six games for the Havre High boys and girls’ basketball teams will be at home. starting off with Browing January 2, then followed by Malta on January 3.
After Malta its a road trip to Hardin then three straight home games against Miles City, Dawson and Lewistown(Fergus) January 10, 17, and 20.
