Great Falls — Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter is asking for the public’s assistance in an ongoing
homicide investigation.
On Friday, January 9, the Cascade County Sheriff’s Office announced a suspicious death in the 1700
block of 22nd Avenue South, just outside the Great Falls city limits. This investigation is now being
confirmed as a homicide. The victim has been identified as Terrell Johnson, a 25-year-old male from Harlem, Montana.
Investigators are seeking assistance locating and tracking the movements of the victim’s vehicle, a
red 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. Detectives are asking the public to report: any sightings of the vehicle
Detectives have learned the victim was known to frequent bars in downtown Great Falls. Any
information related to the victim’s movements, associations, or vehicle during this time frame may be
helpful. No suspect has been apprehended at this time. Multiple leads are being actively pursued, and due to
the ongoing investigation, no additional details will be released.
