(NMB) The Cascade County Sheriff’s office is still looking for a male suspect in the January 9th homicide of 25-year-old Terrell Johnson of Harlem. The Crime happened just outside the Great Fall city limits in the 1700 block of 22nd Avenue South. Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter said that their searching for a male who was on foot in the area of 18th Street South to 5th street South and 10th Avenue South to 22nd Avenue South. Investigators are also tracking the movements of the victims red, 2014 Chevy Cruze. The time frame of interest is the morning of January 9th between approximately 6am and 7am. Slaughter said he has requested and been granted expedited evidentiary process in the case by Attorney General Austin Knudsen and that evidence is currently at the Montana State Crime lab with more evidence being sent. Slaughter also says that the public has been very helpful.
“We have received multiple good leads due to the publics participation in this investigation. The public has been tremendous with timely information and good evidence whether its’s helped the case or whether it’s helped us rule somebody out in this investigation.”
Sheriff Slaughter confirmed the manner of death as multiple stab wounds.
