Helena MT – The Montan State University Bobcats claimed the NCAA National Football Championship Sub-division (FCS) on January 5, with a 35-34 overtime thriller inside First Bank Stadium.
The Bobcats held a Celebration parade on Saturday January 17 before taking a visit to the State capital and to meet Governor Gianforte.
Tuesday January 20 at the state capital Gov. Gianforte said “This Bobcat team exemplified what it means to compete with heart and represent our state with Pride.”
The MSU Bobcats were on sight for Gov. Gianforte to sign a proclamation declaring January 20, 2026 as Bobcat Day in Montana.
