The Montana Department of Commerce last week announced that 51 Montana cities, towns, county and water and sewer districts will share $1.5 million of grant funding to assist communities complete preliminary engineering reports, capital improvement plans, and master plans.
The following cities and towns in New Media Broadcasters listening area received $30,000 to complete water preliminary engineering reports. Cascade, Chinook, Conrad, Fairfield, Glasgow, Harlem, and Sunburst. The town of Saco is receiving $25,000 to complete a water preliminary engineering report, and Liberty County is receiving $30,000 to complete a capital improvement plan.
This funding is provided by the Department of Commerce’s Montana Coal Endowment Program.
