Havre) – At last Thursday’s Hill county Commission Meeting, the commissioners unanimously passed two purchase requests from the Hill County Road Department.
First, they approved a $60,000 request to purchase a 2012 Western Star Truck. This is the third Western Star that the road department has purchased in 20026 ro replace their current aging vehicles. The second was authorization to spend $47,000 on culvert for the county. Commissioner Jake Strissell said in the meeting that Hill County Road supervisor is Shane Huston is always looking for the best time to purchase culvert and now was a good time to make that purchase for the county.
