Haver, MT – Montana State University-Northern Lights basketball is gearing up for their youth and middle school camps next week. Both camps are taking place from Tuesday June 16 through Friday June 19 at MSU-Northern.
Lights head coach Shawn Huse dug into what the camp provides for participants. “For most part it’s traditional camp stuff but we have wrinkles to it. We like station teaching and feel like we can brake them down and rotate them through each station, a lot of that kind of learning.” Coach Huse stated.
“We play a lot of different games, shooting games and then of course regular basketball competition games. It’s skill work and competitions and teamwork and everything in between and celebrating with prizes throughout and at the end of camp.”
Camp time for grades k-4 every day is set for 9a.m. to 12p.m. For grades entering 5-9 the camp will begin at 1p.m. and end at 5p.m. The youth camp costs $140 and the middle school camp costs $160.
