Havre, MT – Havre Northstars baseball had a down weekend but looks to bounce back in conference play Tuesday. After the tournament in Three Forks Havre’s record moved to 9-9-1.
Northstar head coach Ben Mader said a few things stood out about what the team learned from their 2-3 weekend record.
“I think that they believe that their attitude and effort needs to be the same no matter what the scoreboard says and that consistency is a big part of the game.”
Coach Mader also stated that his team is already moving forward in the right direction.
“I don’t think that there is any emphasis [for Tuesday] it’s the same game, I just think that they are taking steps in the right direction and as long as they hold true to that I think they’ll be just fine.”
Havre hits the diamond Tuesday in Fort MacLeod at 3p.m. before heading to Lewistown for another weekend tournament.
