(MISSOULA) – A Lakeside man who stole over $180,000 worth of construction equipment from a Kalispell business and trucked it to Idaho was sentenced on Tuesday, to three years and five months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, Acting U.S. Attorney Mark Steger Smith said.
Eric Brandon Wright, 43, pleaded guilty in January 2026 to one count of interstate transportation of stolen property.
The government alleged in court documents that Wright stole $181,890 worth of construction equipment from RDO Rental Equipment in Kalispell. The U.S. Attorney’s Office prosecuted the case. The Kalispell Police Department and FBI conducted the investigation.
