(NMB) The Havre City Council met for their regular July meeting Monday night. The council passed a resolution affirming active participation in the Bear Paw Economic Development District, ratified the collective bargaining agreements for City of Havre dispatchers, City of Havre Police unit and the local 601 International Association of Firefighters and AFL-CIO City of Havre Firefighters.
Police Chief Gabe Matosich presented two officers, Walter Evens and Ronald Escobar, who have completed their probationary period, asking the council to confirm them as Patrol officers, which the council did.
Mayor Wade Bitz presented a letter proclaiming the City Council’s full support of the Mountain Goat Court project being proposed by Eco Enterprises and HRDC Council District 4.
The next Havre City Council meeting will be held on August 3rd.
