(Havre) – Hill County 4-H has announced the winners of their indoor project exhibits at the 2026 Great Northern Fair.
In Quilting Level One, Ashlyn Matakis was named reserve champion. Katie Matakis was named grand champion in beginning crochet. Level Two Photographer saw Karina Purkett named Grand Champion in Lot 6 and Lot 13 while Tia Kallenberger was named reserve champion. Gillian Matakis was named reserve champion is the design your own stained-glass category. In the drawing, fiber, and sculpture visual arts category Jenisis Rambo was Grand Champion and Tia Kallenberger was Grand Champion in Lot 22 and Lot 27.
4H Activities conclude tomorrow at the Great Northern fair. The market livestock sale begins at 11am and the indoor projects silent auction runs from 9am until 2pm. Both are in the Bigger Better Barn.
