Chinook Man Killed in Fergus County Accident

(Roy) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that a 32 year old Chinook male was killed in a one vehicle accident near Roy in Fergus County on July 12th.

The Ford Taurus was driving southbound on US-191 when at mile marker 76 the vehicle left the right side of the road. The driver overcorrected to the left side and crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, then went off the left side and became broad side on a steep embankment. The Taurus then reached a tipping point where it rolled down the embankment in the East side ditch and rolled down to a barb wire fence. The vehicle came to rest in a filed at the bottom of the embankment its wheels facing north. The male was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

The deceased male has been identified as Barry Andrew Murnion Junior from Chinook
