Woodward, “Very Honored” to Enter Northern HOF

Havre, MT – In June Montana State University-Northern athletics announced their 2026 Hall of Fame Class.

Sierra Woodward joined the Skylights basketball program in 2015. She played for two seasons as a Skylight before joining the coaching staff and eventually becoming the sports information director as well.

Woodward has been selected to the 2026 Hall of Fame class and spoke with NMB Sports on what it means to her.

“I definitely felt very honored, especially with the people that are going in and the ones that are already in, especially with the ones that were on my team. It’s definitely a huge honor to me it’s hard to explain.”

This year’s class features six athletes and or staff members who left a lasting impact on Northern Lights and Skylights athletics.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on Friday, September 4, and all inductees will be recognized during halftime of MSU-Northern football’s first home game against Montana Western on Saturday, September 5.
