(NMB) Friends of the Chinook Pool and Park Foundation will hold their annual Sweet Park Brewfest tomorrow in Sweet Park in Chinook. The event, like always will feature regional craft beers, food, live music. silent auction items and this year’s live auction items, according to Pool and Park Foundation President Heather DePriest are iconic centerpieces of Sweet Memorial Park that would make a great addition to someone’s farm, ranch, yard or home play area.
“What we’re auctioning off is our curly slide and then we’ve got four spring animals that we’re also auctioning off. There’s a bird, a motorcycle an airplane and then a horse. Those items have been installed in the park since the late seventies I believe. They’re very neat, very old school and just a really neat antique.”
The sweet Park Brewfest starts at 4pm. Ticket prices are 35.00 dollars per person and include a commemorative mug and unlimited pours.
All proceeds benefit the Chinook Pool and Park Foundation and will go towards phase two and three of the Pool and Park restoration project. Phase one, the restoration of the Chinook City Pool is complete.
