Montana Farmer’s Union Elections at Bozeman Convention

(Great Falls) – The Montana Farmers Union has elected several leaders to serve the organization during its 111th annual convention in Bozeman.

Among those chosen are two local agricultural representatives. Erik Somerfeld of Power was re-elected to a two-year term as vice president of the organization, and Anna Bold of Big Sandy was newly elected as an at-large board member representing Districts 1 and 2.

The convention also provided an opportunity to honor those who have previously guided the organization. Outgoing board member Jeff Bangs was officially recognized during the event for his service and contributions to the group and its members.

The elected board of directors is tasked with providing leadership and guidance for the organization in the coming years. Their primary focus remains working to support family farmers, ranchers, and rural communities across Montana.
