A Linguistic Symposium Coming Soon

The Chippewa Cree Cultural Preservation Department and the Living Language Grant Program are hosting a linguistic symposium. The symposium will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church on the Rocky Boy Reservation February first from 4 to 7pm.

Gerald Small is working to host the event and he explains the goals of the symposium.

“To gain as much interested members or individuals that want to help us revitalize our language.”-Gerald Small

He continues to explain why Ojibwe language revitalization is important to him.
