A New Youth Hunting Program

The Hunting advocacy group, Milk River Gobblers is working on a way to promote hunting amongst the youth. Jeff Dibblee the spokesman for the group explains what they’re working on.

“We are working on a mentorship program with youth. It is still in the works. We do stress safety very highly with gun handling, and education of hunting, and probably most important the heritage, passing on the heritage of the value of hunting in general.”-Jeff Dibblee

Jeff continues to explain what the mentorship program would be.

“We’d take young folks out hunting boys or girls. We would provide the firearms, and the guidance for them, and just give them an overall taste of what hunting is like and with any luck plant a seed.”-Jeff Dibblee
