HELENA, Mont. (October 17, 2025) A coalition of agricultural organizations are excited to announce the first-of-its-kind Montana Agriculture Labor Summit, scheduled to take place on January 21-22, 2026, at the Northern Hotel in Billings. The agricultural labor shortage continues to place significant pressure on Montana’s producers and the broader ag economy. Addressing this challenge requires open dialogue, shared expertise, and a collaborative approach. This two-day event will offer informative sessions designed for all cross sections of the industry.
The Summit is designed to bring stakeholders together for a focused conversation on workforce issues impacting the industry. The Summit will explore potential solutions including strengthening domestic labor pipelines, and improving access to non-immigrant labor programs such as H-2A.
Registration for the Ag Labor Summit will open in early November and individuals interested in attending are encouraged to visit the Ag Labor Summit event page for more information, speaker announcements, and to register for the event.
