
HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Agriculture’s Ag Development Council will meet virtually this Wednesday through Friday to review applications for the Growth Through Agriculture program and determine grant and loan awards for the 2021 fiscal year.
According to the Agenda, there are 37 applicants for grants and loans this year, including Stricks Ag of Chester, Crawford Distillery LLC of Havre, Baltrusch Angus Ranch of Havre, High Horizon Gardens of Havre, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Casey Solomon of Havre.
The Council will spend several days conducting virtual question and answer sessions with applicants and are expected to produce a final ranking of the applicants on Friday.
The Agriculture Development Council, which has its members appointed by the Governor, establishes policies and priorities to enhance the future development of agriculture in Montana.
