(Havre) Through the weekend and into Monday this week, many Americans will spend this weekend celebrating and remembering fallen military personnel, a very personal affair for some.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with Les Johnson, vice commander of the American Legion Post 11, to talk more on their Memorial Day service.
“We like to honor our fallen veterans, mostly the ones that have just passed in this last year. That’s the biggest reason, and then to honor all other passed, deceased, that we like to remember”
The American Legions Service will begin at 11am on Monday, May 26th, at the Hill County Courthouse, before a follow-up service and lunch at the Elk’s Club.
