American Legion Riders remember fallen on September 11th.

(Havre) The American Legion Riders held their September 11th Memorial Service on Wednesday in Havre’s town square.

The billed start time was 9 am, but things didn’t get underway until around 11 minutes after that, which American Legion Rider Director Bob Brewer says is done intentionally.

“I think it went very well, with the service always kicking off the speaking part at 9:11, that certainly pays tribute to all those that were killed and injured on that day at that time”

*The service continued with a complimentary breakfast, followed by the riders heading down to Taylor Road in Beaver Creek Park for a moment of silence before returning back to Havre.
