FORT PECK, Mont. — Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks reminds anglers that the archery-only paddlefish season in the Fort Peck Dredge Cuts is open through August 31st.
A 2025 blue paddlefish E-tag is required, and snagging is prohibited.
Harvested paddlefish must be reported within 48 hours, with reporting options available at local boat ramps, online, or by phone.
Additionally, a new free catch card is now required to harvest shortnose gar.
