(Havre) – The Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees held their August meeting on Tuesday Night. In his report, Superintendent Brian Gum updated the board on the Fill the Bus event that will be taking place at a local coffee shop.
He discussed the grant opportunity for a Havre Public Schools grow your own program in conjunction with MSU-Northern, and presented the board with the final transportation reimbursement allocation for the 2024-25 school year.
Trustee Christin Hileman (Hy-all-man) along with Superintendent Gum, discussed the upcoming meeting with the Producer Partnership out of Livingston for information about a program allowing area ranchers to donate animals, to be processed as a donation to the food service at Havre Public Schools.
